Tag the Wall Relay
| Children love play this wonderful game at a Labor Day BBQ. On your mark, get set, tag the wall. Labor Day can be fun for young children as well as adults with this Labor Day game named Tag the Wall. This game is especially geared towards first graders, ages 5 - 8 years old. Two or more rows compete. The player in the back seat rises at a signal from the teacher, runs forward down the aisle, tags the wall at the front of the room, and returns to his seat. As soon as he has reached his seat the player next in front of him does the same, the relay being complete when each player in turn has run. Try to make sure the teams are fair and evenly divided to create a fair chance. The line whose front player is seated first wins. Try to have prizes or rewards for the winning team. After the game you can hand out some Labor Day party favors. |
